{"id":22433,"date":"2020-01-09T08:11:31","date_gmt":"2020-01-09T13:11:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/manhassetlibrary.org\/?page_id=22433"},"modified":"2021-04-27T16:02:03","modified_gmt":"2021-04-27T20:02:03","slug":"revisiting-the-founding-era","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/manhassetlibrary.org\/site\/history-center\/exhibits\/revisiting-the-founding-era\/","title":{"rendered":"Revisiting the Founding Era"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In 2018, the\u00a0History Center at the Manhasset Public Library\u00a0was awarded a \u201c<em>Revisiting the Founding Era<\/em>\u201d grant to implement public programming and community conversations that explores America\u2019s founding era and its enduring themes. <em>Revisiting the Founding Era\u00a0<\/em>is a three-year national initiative of The Gilder Lehrman Institute of American History, presented in partnership with the American Library Association and the National Constitution Center, with support from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Based on the grant\u2019s guidelines our History Center launched a series of programs, from January to March 2020, on the Founding Era.
