{"id":11358,"date":"2015-12-11T20:50:36","date_gmt":"2015-12-12T01:50:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/manhassetlibrary.org\/?p=11358"},"modified":"2017-08-17T19:25:49","modified_gmt":"2017-08-17T23:25:49","slug":"phyllis-buchner","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/manhassetlibrary.org\/site\/phyllis-buchner\/","title":{"rendered":"Phyllis Buchner"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I have always had a love of art.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>In high school I went to Parsons School of Design on Saturday mornings, then after graduating high school, I attended Pardons full time, specializing in costume design.<\/p>\n<p>After graduating Parsons, I designed for a knitwear firm. \u00a0Through the years I&#8217;ve expressed my creativity by quilting, sewing, knitting, floral design, colored pencils, calligraphy and oil painting. \u00a0Oil painting has been my passion for most of my adult life.<\/p>\n<p>I have studies oil painting at the Nassau County Museum of Art and South Hampton College.
