And the best part is that reading has no calories<\/p>\n<p>One of our favorite parts of the job is hearing our patron\u2019s reviews of what they\u2019re reading and watching. This book is encouraging me to create good \u201cwork from home\u201d habits!<br \/>\nLuisa M., Children\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/nassau.overdrive.com\/search?query=Atomic%20Habits\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong><em>Available on Libby<\/em><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nassau.overdrive.com\/search?query=The%20Monkey%27s%20Raincoat\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong><em>The Monkey\u2019s Raincoat<\/em><\/strong><\/a> by Robert Crais \u2013 The first book in the Elvis Cole series. Elvis is a witty, Vietnam vet turned private eye with an affinity for Disney d\u00e9cor. This is a short read; a good introduction to a series that gets better. I also recommend <a href=\"https:\/\/nassau.overdrive.com\/search?query=IQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong><em>IQ<\/em><\/strong><\/a> by Joe Ide \u2013 another first in a series, IQ is an inner city Sherlock Holmes.<br \/>\nKristin G., Circulation Both books are <strong><em>available on Libby<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nassau.overdrive.com\/search?query=Dead%20Wake\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong><em>Dead Wake<\/em><\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/nassau.overdrive.com\/search?query=In%20the%20Garden%20of%20Beasts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong><em>In the Garden of Beasts<\/em><\/strong><\/a> by Erik Larson \u2013 One of my favorite authors, Erik Larson writes non-fiction that reads like fiction. Easy to read but also beautifully crafted. If you love learning about history, this is an exciting way to do it!<br \/>\nLinda G., Circulation <strong><em>Available on Libby<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>And Watching\u2026<br \/>\n<\/em><\/strong><strong><em>Lady Bird<\/em><\/strong> \u2013 \u201cLady Bird\u201d is a high school senior growing up on the \u201cother side\u201d of the tracks. The movie touches on mother\/daughter relationships and the trials of being a teenager. Definitely a feel good movie. A great treat for film buffs! From romances like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hoopladigital.com\/search?scope=everything&amp;q=Maid%20In%20Manhattan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong><em>Kate and Leopold<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (Meg Ryan\/Hugh Jackman) or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hoopladigital.com\/search?scope=everything&amp;q=Maid%20In%20Manhattan\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong><em>Maid in Manhattan <\/em><\/strong><\/a>(Jennifer Lopez\/Ralph Finnes); to more serious fare such as <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hoopladigital.com\/title\/12183297\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong><em>Good Will Hunting<\/em><\/strong> <\/a>(Matt Damon\/Ben Affleck), <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hoopladigital.com\/title\/12183281\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong><em>Life is Beautiful <\/em><\/strong><\/a>(Roberto Benigni) and even <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hoopladigital.com\/title\/11080259\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong><em>Midnight Cowboy <\/em><\/strong><\/a>(Jon Voight\/Dustin Hoffman) there is so much <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hoopladigital.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><strong><em>available on Hoopla<\/em><\/strong><\/a>. Relaxing and informative!<br \/>\nGarry S., Building Maintenance<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Traitors<\/em><\/strong> (Netflix) \u2013 British TV series set in 1945 London after the end of World War II. It tells the story of an English woman recruited by the Americans to identify a Soviet spy. Intriguing and well presented.<br \/>\nLinda G., Circulation Dept.<strong><em>\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Making the Cut<\/em><\/strong> (Amazon) \u2013 Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn are back with a new Project Runway-type show. This time they\u2019re looking to find the next great international designer.
