EARLY LITERACY PROGRAM ~ Birth-Age 5 (entering kindergarten in Fall 2020)
\n<\/strong>Participants will fill in one circle in their booklet each time they read a book. (Color-in or use stickers provided)
\nWhen a child reaches 50 books, they will be eligible to pick-up a prize (curbside) at the library and be entered into our end of Summer Reading Raffle<\/em> on August 14.<\/p>\n

Participation Instructions:<\/strong><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Fill out the online form<\/strong><\/a> (preferred) <\/span> or call the Children\u2019s Room at:
    \n516-627-2300 x301.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. We will notify you by email or phone (you choose) when your\u00a0Welcome Bag<\/strong><\/em> is ready for curbside
    \npick-up.\u00a0 Pick-up will begin on or about Monday, June 29.<\/li>\n
  3. The first 50 registrants will receive a special keepsake journal (in your\u00a0Welcome Bag<\/strong><\/em>) to help remember this special time with your child.<\/li>\n
  4. When you complete 50 books, simply attach a photo of your reading log to the\u00a0Summer Reading Response Form,<\/strong><\/em> which will be posted here soon, or mail the photo to us at:

  5. When we receive your form, we will contact you to pick up your prize and you can continue to participate in the 1,000 Books program!<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
