{"id":7653,"date":"2013-12-04T12:43:35","date_gmt":"2013-12-04T16:43:35","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/manhassetlibrary.org\/?p=7653"},"modified":"2016-01-27T11:24:33","modified_gmt":"2016-01-27T16:24:33","slug":"terri-pakula","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/manhassetlibrary.org\/site\/terri-pakula\/","title":{"rendered":"Terri Pakula"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>&#8220;Glass Globe&#8221; -&#8220;I&#8217;ve been using the photographic medium since the late 60&#8217;s as a tool for self-expression&#8230;<!--more--><\/em>My journey took me to obtaining a M.F.A. in the mid-70&#8217;s and it hasn&#8217;t stopped.\u00a0 Always a student as well as a teacher and coach of photography to this present day.<\/p>\n<p>I have exhibited my work since the 1970&#8217;s throughout the country.\u00a0 Embracing the new digital world has opened up an endless palette for me in the creative process, one which has exceeded the darkroom.\u00a0 My tools vary from different cameras to different software programs.\u00a0 Each tool is used for a different job or vision I might have<\/p>\n<p>My philosophy is best expressed with the two following quotes:<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;You don&#8217;t take a photograph, you make it.&#8221;\u00a0 Ansel Adams<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8220;Everything id s\u00a0subject.
