Linda’s personal vision is to create stirring artistic images…Linda Russo is a board certified Operating Room Nurse manager who finds great joy in photographing nature. Her passion for creative photographs began about 20 years ago after attending photographic workshops with Canadian photographers Freeman Paterson and Andre Gallant.  Her “seeing” in creative landscape photography incorporates the elements of visual design: tone, light and perspective, lines, color, depth, form and HDR.

Linda Russo has won several photographic awards including GAOW “Best of Weekend” in Acadia, Maine, and an International Canadian award associated with Photolife magazine.  Her photos from Acadia National Park were presented in the PBS documentary, “New Yorkers’ Memories of the National Parks.”  She has several photos published in the book “Paumanok, Poems and Pictures of Long Island,” and “Paumanok Interwoven,” by Kathleen Donnelly.

She is a member of the Manhasset/Great Neck Camera Club and the Long Island Photographic Artist Network.  Her photos have been exhibited in libraries and galleries such as BJ Spoke Gallery, Huntington; NY Barnes Gallery, Garden City; The Great Neck Arts Center; Manhasset Public Library; and other libraries throughout Long Island.
