>> BOTTLE CAP COLLECTION***
We are collecting bottle caps to create murals for summer reading. You will receive 1 hour for every 20 bottle caps turned into the library. Bottle caps must be in a sealable bag with the students name. The bottle caps must be handed to a librarian in the children’s room or Teen Zone. This opportunity will run from March 1 through April 30. Any bottle caps turned in after April 30 will not be eligible to receive hours.

Due to a larger then expected amount of donations, the bottle cap collection project will now be up to a maximum of 20 hours starting Tuesday, April 16th. Students who have already turned in bottle caps on or before Monday, April 15th will have all donations counted.

>> THE RECYCLING CHALLENGE
Earn community service credit for exchanging aluminum cans and plastic bottles at a bottle exchange center. Every 20 containers exchanged earns you an hour of community service. A maximum of 10 service hours can be earned through this project.
