“I grew up with a camera always at hand, but didn’t consider photography a serious expression of my art until about  ten years ago.  Doing computer graphics at work, and then getting a digital camera changed my view of photography as an art, as my personal expression.
I’m told my photographs have a quiet, elegant stillness to them.  In this instant gratification world I love capturing a moment, a scene that you might just miss as you hurry past.  I love doing landscapes, adding them to my love of flowers.  I try to capture scenes and objects in a way that transcends the ordinary.  Photography has become my passion and I hope you see that in my images.
My work has been selected for awards from Utrecht Art in the Manhasset Art Association and at The Art Guild of Port Washington’s Home Away from Home exhibit, and for juried shows and exhibits at Gallery North, the Barnes Gallery, Graphic Eye Gallery, FotoFoto Gallery, Freeport Council of the Arts, Smithtown Township Arts Council Juried Show, Quaogue Lobrary, the Pace Gallery, the Town of Oyster Bay Rotational Art Program, North Winds Coffee & Tea, and the Tic Toc Cafe.  I served as the treasurer of the Photographic Federation of Long Island for four years, was one the board of The Art Guild of Port Washington, and active in the Long Island Center of Photography.”
