“I have no formal art education other than the courses I took in high school, but I have been a photographer, sketcher and doodler all of my life.

In September of 2013 I retired from a career as the assistant principal of the Humanities Department at Townsend Harris High School, art of the New York City public school system and took my first printmaking class at the Great Neck Adult Education program at the Cumberland School that fall, and have continued to explore this wonderful medium.

“I have found solar prints to be the medium that offers me the most flexibility in expressing my artistic eye.  Photos, doodles, sketches and solid materials all can be used to create interesting and engaging prints.”
