“Zen Man”
“Born and raised in New York City, I was drawn to photography after seeing images of the French photographers Doisneu, Brassai and Cartier Bresson. The city was to become my unending supply of images, my camera the instrument to edit those images.
The small gesture, the quiet moment became my subject matter, the light an extension of that moment not just the means to capture the image.
I have had my work shown in many galleries including the No Name Gallery in New York City in 1999 and the Paul Kopienkin Gallery in Los Angeles. In June, 2001, my one woman show, ‘Moments’ opened at the Walter Meade Gallery in Roxbury, New York, and in 2003 ‘Moments’ opened at the Abrons Center in New York City.”
