“Having Fun” is the Library’s contribution to ease the tensions and displeasure of Winter; a multi-media display of people of all ages enjoying themselves in all kinds of activities. We are sure you will smile as you view these images. “Having Fun” can be sen in the Library’s Community Room and in the cases located on all floors.
Arthur Laxer’s photographs are being shown in his memory in the Third Floor Photography Gallery. When Mr. Laxer was no longer able to travel with his camera, he turned to digital photography and continued creating art while faced with adversity.
Manhasset Library’s first featured artist is Raisy Derzie. She uses modern technology, an iPad, to create these cheerful images. Her colorful work may be seen on the Second Floor until mid-May.
