Janet Dansbury is a retired Great neck Public Schools art teacher with a Bachelor of Science degree in Art Education from SUNY New Paltz.
She developed her love of printmaking while taking graduate courses at Pratt Institute; C.W. Post, LIU; and Art New England, Bennnington College, Vermont. She received an Artist in Residence Grant from Weir Farm National Park Service and the Vermont Studio School. Within this discipline, Janet has found an outlet for expressing her spiritual self and cultural awareness, along with her great love and respect for music, nature and family.
