In my youth I dabbled in drawings, as a teen I attempted a couple of oils–as a husband, father and work dog–I laid it down for 30 years. Since I have created space in my life, I’ve enjoyed reawakening a passion for expression. As I have never taken an art lesson or studied it in school I’ve settled on the ease of acrylics for the most part. As regards to subject matter- a slice of life realism captures most of my work. People, their lives, surroundings, emotional engagements interest me most.
