Vocalist Linda Ciofalo and her band celebrate the Phenomenal Women in Music who have contributed their talents to help shape music history. You’ll hear tunes by Carole King, Dorothy fields, Abbe Lincoln, Stevie Nicks, Carolyn Leigh and Dory Previn, and songs that were made famous by some of the greatest women vocalists in history.

Based on the work of Jon Kabat Zinn, of the University of Massachusetts Mindfulness-Based Stress Clinic, you will benefit with the coaching of Linda Reilly, LCSW, by participating in this useful training for dealing with chronic pain, anxiety and stress. Please wear comfortable clothing and sneakers and bring a mat or towel. There is no fee for this course; however, it is recommended that you purchase a book entitled : Full Catastrophe Living: Using the Wisdom of Your Body and Mind to Face Stress, Pain, and Illness, by Jon Kabat-Zinn, which is a companion book to the course. Books are available at the Circulation Desk for $12.
