“Life, color images, along with negative and positive space. These are the things that inspire me.
Canvas, clay, glass, and stone are surfaces that I work in and on with palette in hand. I enjoy balancing hard edges with fluid lines and form. What better way to display my shoes, then on the back of a door?
I am an instructor at the Great Neck House, teaching Exploring Clay and Fun Art, to children after school. I have a few awards for my paintings, and sold a large clay piece at the Nassau County Museum of Art.
Many of my glassworks and clay pieces were displayed and sold in Manhattan, the Graphic Eye in Port Washington, and at Owl Gallery Art Center, in Woodmere, NY.
I am a recipient of the May W. Newburger Women’s Roll of Honor for volunteering and devoting time, teaching art and clay to mentally challenged adults.
I specialize in commissions for residential homes and corporations.
I have received the Conde Nast Publications Editorial Illustration Award and I’m a scholorship graduate at the School of Visual Arts.”
