DESIGNING WOMEN” – THE MANHASSET COMMUNITY CLUB ART EXHIBIT
The Manhasset Community Club Art Department is presenting their exhibit, “Designing Women” at the Manhasset Public Library from April 3 to May 25.
The Manhasset Community Club has been in existence since 1926 and is a philanthropic non-profit organization. Funds raised by the club provide financial aid for scholarships to students at Manhasset High School and St. Mary’s High School. Donations are also given to many other charitable organizations in the community.
In addition to their numerous cultural activities, the Art Group meets once a week. Class size is held to a minimum in order to provide special attention to each student. Anyone interested may come and observe. Beginners are welcome.
On the third Tuesday of each month, members and guests are treated to a fingertip luncheon and tea followed by entertainment.
