Welcome to the Manhasset Public Library’s 100 Books Before Graduation reading challenge!
100 Books Before Graduation is a program for students in grades 7-12 that challenges you to read 100 books before graduating high school. While we understand this is a busy time for students, we hope to help keep your reading on track. Reading can provide stress relief, increase empathy, and improve your writing skills! Also, it’s fun!
How to sign up
This reading challenge is open to students in grades 7-12. Students can register for the challenge starting July 1st before they enter 7th grade or anytime before they graduate high school by following the link below. Once registered the student can come into the library to pick up their registration rewards.
How to complete the challenge
To complete this challenge students must read 100 books by June 30th of their senior year. Students will earn a prize at 20, 40, 60, 80 and 100 books! Any book (physical, eBook, and audio) the student reads after registering counts towards the goal. This includes books read for school! The only books that do not count towards the goal are books read before the student registers.
