The Manhasset Public Library plays host to many local community organizations’ meetings and programs.  Here are are a few groups that might be of interest to you:

MANHASSET NEWCOMERS CLUB

NORTH SHORE AUDUBON SOCIETY
Their mission is to promote, protect and preserve the envoriment, and the birds that inhabit it, through education, advocacy and leadership.  Please visit their website @ www.northshoreaudubon.org.  Programs are free and suitable for children age 12 and up.

LONG ISLAND CENTER FOR PHOTOGRAPHY

SEPTA @ YOUR LIBRARY
Manhasset Special Education PTA (SEPTA) is a parent-teacher group that services Manhasset’s special needs community with guest speakers and experts on a range of special education topics.  Please join Manhasset SEPTA at the library for their monthly presentations.  Feel free to contact them to become a member online or suggest topics at www.ManhassetSEPTA.org

MANHASSET-GREAT NECK  PHOTOGRAPHY CLUB
Beginning in September, check the library calendar for new bi-monthly educational photography meetings.  All levels of expertise and new faces are always welcome.
