Starting September 28, 2026, the PIN used to access your online library accounts (i.e. Vega) will also be needed to access all Overdrive products including Libby, Nassau Digital Doorway, and Kanopy. Generally the last 4 digits of the phone number used when signing up for your Manhasset Library card is set as your PIN.

and following these directions:
How to Add or Reset Your PIN:
When prompted, enter your 14-digit library card number (no spaces), then select “Submit.”
If the library does not have your email address on file, you will be prompted to reach out to the library for assistance setting your PIN.
If the library has your email address on file, a message will be emailed directly to you instructing you how to set/reset your pin.
Using the link provided in the email, enter your library card barcode (14 digits, no spaces), then enter and confirm your PIN.
