Margaret Weissbach’s monoprints have been occupied with the movement of interactive human figures.

In this series, she has turned to the subject of birds returning north after a long winter.  Bursts of flight enable us to express emotional changes that the new season inspires.  Warm bright and fresh color enliven our mood and revitalize our spirit.

Weissbach has exhibited her monoprints and watercolors in solo, two-person and group exhibits for more than twenty years in galleries and museums throughout the New York area.  Included are the Nassau Museum of Fine Arts in Roslyn, the Fine Arts Museum in Hempstead, Adelphi University, the Heckscher Museum in Huntington and the Hudson River Museum in Yonkers.  In Manhattan, she has had solo shows at Gallery 84 and a three-person show at Ward Nasse Gallery.
