“I have always known that I possess artistic talent.

I have known it since the first time I picked up a pencil or a crayon.  it is something that lives at the very core of my essence.  it is the way I think, the way that I formulate my thoughts.  it is something that is intimately intrinsic to me, more intimate than my name.

“Creating a work of art for me is not hard.  it is easy!  It is easy not because of my training- I have no training- but it is easy because it is a part of my essential being.  It conforms as closely as possible to my thought patterns and to the way I view reality.  The point I am trying to make is that you can only give to a work of art what you have within you.

“I can only take partial credit for the painting displayed here.  As I was working on it, the painting seemed to have a mind of its own, and it seemed to be painting itself through my hand.  It was a strange experience.”
