Soprano Jean O’Malley is a musical presence in Manhasset, her hometown. She has performed for the Plandome Women’s Club, Manhasset Community and as a soloist with the Varsity Choral Society, as well as teaching voice to many aspiring young singers in the area.
In Classics to Cabaret, Jean, accompanied by pianist Lois Tepfer and flutist Dotti Anita Taylor, will feature familiar arias from opera and operetta, as well as some favorite picks from the Great American Songbook.

A visual art lecture by Mary Vahey featuring the international renowned Cone Collection of Modern Art on loan to The Jewish Museum May 8- Sept. 25, from the Baltimore Museum of Art.
A critical formal component in all works of art, ‘composition’ directs the many choices an artist makes when constructing the visual elements of picture making.
This exhibition presents works by artists who visually compose in a variety of mediums, and convey their personal approaches to composition in these wonderful works on display.
